Our office is tucked away at 301 in the Silver Chamber building on Tagore Road. It’s a busy street, and finding a place to park your scooter can be a real headache most mornings. The building itself is one of those older structures with a lot of character and maybe a few too many stairs. We are on the third floor, so we get a bit of a view of the rooftops nearby. The elevator works most of the time, but it’s slow and makes a strange creaking noise, so we usually just walk up. Inside, the space is filled with our equipment and desks. It’s not a polished corporate office. The walls are a bit yellowed and there are stacks of papers everywhere. We do screentech work here, so there is always a bit of a chemical smell in the air. The lighting is a bit dim in the corners, but we have lamps where we need them. Tagore Road has a lot of energy, and you can hear the street vendors calling out from our windows. We have a small corner with a hot plate for making coffee. It’s a lived-in space that shows we actually work here. We don't have a receptionist or a lobby. If you come in, you’ll probably see us hunched over our work. We’ve been in Silver Chamber for years and it feels like home now, even with all its little flaws and the noise from the street.
