Rikon Clock Manufacturing Company

If you drive down the Morbi-Rajkot Road, you will eventually find us out in Lajai village. We are part of the Rikon Clock Manufacturing Company and we spend our days making sure the clocks are put together right. The road outside is always busy with big trucks carrying goods back and forth between Morbi and Rajkot. It gets pretty dusty out here in Lajai village especially when the wind picks up across the open fields. Inside the factory it is a different world with all the ticking and the sound of the machinery. We have been in this spot for a long time. The work is steady and repetitive but there is something about seeing the hands of a clock start moving for the first time. We are tucked away in the Tal. Morbi area which is known for this kind of work. It is not a fancy office or anything like that. It is a manufacturing place where people use their hands and stay busy. The sun sets early over the road and that is usually when we start wrapping things up for the day. You can see our sign from the Morbi-Rajkot Road if you are looking for it. We have a lot of space here to keep the materials we need. It is just a regular factory life out here in Lajai for all of us at Rikon.
