Realwax Industries

Realwax is based in Rajkot, over in the Triveni Society area near the Old Octroi Naka. We are situated in the Decora building on Santkabir Road. It is a local family business through and through. We spend our days making different wax products for all kinds of industrial and home uses. The heavy smell of melting wax is something you get used to very quickly when you work here every day. It is a very casual, family-run kind of environment. We have a few local guys who help us out with the mixing and the pouring of the hot liquid. The floor can get a little bit slippery if we are not careful during the pouring process. We are not trying to be some massive global company. We just provide good wax to the local shops and the small industries around this part of Gujarat. The machinery we use is quite old but it still works perfectly fine for what we need to do. We do not have a marketing department or any sales people. Most of our customers have been buying their supplies from us for ten years or even longer. We just talk to them on the phone and get their bags ready for pickup. Sometimes the summer heat in Rajkot makes the work a bit difficult, so we start the machines early in the morning. The office is just a single desk in the front.
