Ramanuj Clinic

Ramanuj Clinic is over at 201-marutibedi naka road. We are located right near the hatkeshwer temple, so we hear the temple bells ringing throughout the day. It is actually a nice sound to have in the background while we work. The clinic itself is quite small and sits right on the busy naka road. There is always dust coming in from the street because of all the bikes and cars passing by. We have a small bench for patients to sit on, and it usually fills up by ten in the morning. I spend my time cleaning the glass jars and making sure we have enough cotton and spirit. People coming from the temple often stop in if they aren't feeling well. The lighting inside is a bit dim, but we have a good lamp on the main desk. We see a lot of kids with coughs and older people checking their blood pressure. It is a simple neighborhood clinic. We don't have a computer system, so everything is still written down in big paper ledgers. Sometimes the rain leaks a little near the front door if the storm is bad, but we just put a bucket there and keep going. Marutibedi naka road is a lively place to be, and we are just one part of the daily routine here. We don't do anything fancy, just the basic medical stuff that people need.
