Rajwadi Imitation

Our shop, Rajwadi Imitation, is up on the first floor of Crystal Complex. It’s right on Sant Kabir Road, not far from the Panjrapole area. The complex is usually pretty busy with people coming and going from different offices. Inside our unit, we have glass cases filled with all sorts of jewelry pieces. It’s a lot of small stuff, so we spend a lot of time organizing trays and making sure everything is in the right place. The lighting has to be bright so people can see the details of the items. It’s not a very big shop, but we make the most of the space we have. Sometimes the elevator in the building acts up, so we end up taking the stairs a lot. We get a mix of people coming in, some just looking and some who know exactly what they want. The area around Sant Kabir Road is always full of activity, especially in the evenings. We usually keep the shop open until late to catch the shoppers. It can get a bit cluttered behind the counter with packaging materials and new stock coming in. We don't really do any big advertising; people mostly find us by walking through the complex or hearing about us from friends. It’s a simple, straightforward shop where we just show up every day and wait for the next person to walk through the door.
