Raj Plastics

Our place is No. 14 in the Mahavir Industrial Estate, right off Gondal Road in Veraval-Shapar. It is a busy industrial zone, so there are always big trucks moving in and out of the estate gates. We handle a lot of plastic work here. The shed we work in is pretty big, which is good because we need the extra space for the raw materials and the finished products. It gets quite hot during the summer months, but we just keep the big fans going and stay busy with the machines. We have been here at unit 8-Bnh for a long while now. It is not the cleanest job, dealing with plastics and heavy machinery all day, so we usually have a bit of a mess on the floor until we clean up at the end of the shift. We do not have a front desk or anyone to greet you; usually, someone just hears the door and comes over from the back. It is a hands-on kind of business. We spend most of our time making sure the machines are running like they should. If something breaks, we usually fix it ourselves with the tools we have. The road outside can get a bit bumpy with all the heavy loads, but it is a good spot for us. We know the other guys in the estate, and we sometimes borrow tools from each other. It is just honest work and keeping up with the various orders we have on the books.
