Pustak Prayag

We are over at Plot No.01, Jalaram Krupa in Maruti Nagar. We are quite close to the Kothariya Main Road, so it is a good location for us. Pustak Prayag is a place where we deal with books and related materials. If you come inside, the first thing you will notice is the smell of paper and ink. We have books everywhere, stacked on tables and packed into shelves. It is not a big corporate bookstore. It is more of a local warehouse and office where we manage our collection. We spend most of our time sorting through titles and getting orders ready for delivery. Maruti Nagar is a decent neighborhood and we have been here for a while. We don't have any fancy marketing displays or bright lights. It is just a plain building where we do our work. Some days we are very busy with large orders for schools or libraries, and other days it is just us organizing the inventory. We don't have a big mission statement or anything like that. We just like books and we want to make sure the right ones get to the people who ordered them. Sometimes we make mistakes with the packing or the delivery is late because of rain, but we always fix it. It is a very human way of running a business. We just take things one day at a time.
