Proxy Associates

Proxy Associates is up on the second floor of P.R. Complex, room 204. RMC Chowk is always a mess with traffic, but it keeps things lively. Dhebar Road is right outside, so it’s never really quiet. You can look out and see the Bank of Baroda across the way. It’s a busy part of Rajkot, 360002. The elevator in the complex is a bit slow, so most of us just take the stairs. It’s good exercise anyway. We’ve got our setup here, just some desks and some files. Nothing to show off. The tea guy comes around twice a day, which is the highlight of the afternoon. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, but that’s just how it is in this area. We just sit and wait or talk until it comes back. Being across from the bank makes it easy to tell people where to go. Opposite Bank of Baroda usually works as a landmark. The office gets a lot of dust because of the road work nearby, but we keep it clean enough. It’s a practical space. Not much room for lounging around. We just get the day’s work handled and then head home. Rajkot keeps moving and we just stay part of it from our little spot in the complex. It's been a long week but the work keeps coming in and we stay busy with the files. It is what it is.
