Prayag Industries

Prayag Industries sits at Plot No. G-829, right by the Kishan Gate area. It’s a straightforward industrial setup. We don’t have any big signs or flashy lights out front. Most people just know us by the plot number. Inside, it’s mostly metal parts and some heavy machinery. My brother and I run the day-to-day things. We get here around eight in the morning and usually don’t leave until the sun is long gone. The floor is concrete and stays cool in the morning, which is nice. We do a lot of grinding and cutting here, so there are always sparks and a bit of noise. The neighbors on both sides do similar work, so nobody complains about the sound. We buy our supplies from a guy a few streets over. It’s easier than getting stuff shipped in from far away. We don't have a fancy website or anything like that. People just call the landline or stop by the gate if they need something made. We keep a cat around to deal with the rats that come in from the fields behind us. It’s a simple operation. We just try to do the jobs as they come and keep the machines greased up. It’s what we know how to do and it keeps us busy. The rain sometimes leaks through the roof but we manage.
