You can find Penguine Auto Industries right behind the Rajaram Temple over in Patel Nagar. We’ve been at number 2 for quite some time. It is a bit tucked away, so if you aren't looking for the temple, you might miss us. The shop stays pretty warm in the afternoons, especially when we have all the machines running at once. We work on all sorts of auto components here. It’s a lot of metal work and oily hands. Sometimes the power goes out in the neighborhood and we have to wait a bit, but mostly we’re just grinding away at whatever is on the bench that morning. There are a few of us here every day, usually starting early before it gets too hot outside. We don’t really do anything fancy with the office, it’s mostly just a place to keep the files and have a seat for a minute. The Rajaram Temple is a good landmark because everyone knows it. We hear the bells and the sounds from there while we’re working on the parts. It’s a decent spot to be. Most of the stuff we make goes out on trucks a few times a week. We try to keep things organized, but in an auto shop, things tend to get messy pretty fast. There’s always a pile of scrap somewhere that needs moving. We just focus on the task at hand and try to stay on schedule. That is pretty much how things go here.
