Leela Exports

Leela Exports is based in Rajkot, specifically in the Rameshwar Complex on Pedak Road. We are in unit 101, which is part of the Ranchhodnagar Society area. Rajkot can get very hot, so our ceiling fans are almost always on high speed. The office is usually full of cardboard boxes and packing tape. Since we do exports, there is always something being wrapped or labeled for shipping. Pedak Road is a busy stretch, and you can hear the motorbikes zooming past all day long. We have a small staff and we all know each other’s business. It’s a very local feel. We don't have a big corporate cafeteria, just a small corner where we keep the kettle and some biscuits. The complex itself is quite busy with other small businesses, so there is always someone walking by the door. We keep our records in big physical files because it’s easier to grab them when we are in a hurry. Sometimes the courier guys show up late and we have to wait around past our closing time. The floor is tile and it’s easy to clean, which is good because of all the dust that comes in from the road. We don't use fancy computers for everything; a lot of our work is still done with a pen and a notepad. It’s a straightforward way to run things, and it works for us. Ranchhodnagar is a good place to be located for this kind of work.
