Patel Foundry

Patel Foundry is tucked away in Shree Umakant Pandit Udyog Nagar. We are at number 4, right opposite the Mavdi Plot area. If you come by, you’ll hear the sounds of the machines and the heat from the furnace. It’s a foundry, so it’s never going to be a clean or quiet place. We spend our days working with metal and molds. There is always a lot of black sand and soot around. That’s just the nature of the work we do here. Our spot in the industrial estate is where we have been for years. The Mavdi Plot area is always bustling with other workshops and factories, so we fit right in. It’s a lot of hard work and the guys are usually covered in dust by the end of their shift. We don't have any polished reception area. If you want to talk to us, you usually have to find us on the floor near the equipment. We make various castings and parts. Each day is about getting the temperature right and making sure the molds are set properly. It’s not a job for everyone because of the heat, especially during the summer months. We just focus on getting the orders done and keeping the machines running. We’ve seen many businesses come and go in Udyog Nagar, but we just keep doing our thing at number 4. It’s a simple, tough business run by people who don't mind getting their hands dirty and putting in a full day.
