Ormax Socialwelfare Foundation

Our place is at House Number 108 in Shaneshvar Residency. We are right opposite the Girir 80Ft Road, and you can see the big water tank from our front door. It’s a pretty easy landmark for anyone coming from Rajkot. The Ormax Socialwelfare Foundation started because we saw a lot of gaps in how people in our village and the surrounding taluka were getting support. We are not some big city group with a lot of money. We’re just local folks using a room in a house to try and help. The 80ft road is always busy with trucks and cars, but inside Shaneshvar, it stays fairly calm. We spend our days talking to people who walk in with all sorts of issues. Maybe they need help with a government form or they’re looking for advice on a family matter. We don’t turn people away. We might not have all the answers right then, but we’ll find someone who does. It’s a very hands-on kind of thing. We don’t spend much on advertising because word of mouth works better around here anyway. People know where the water tank is, so they know where we are. It’s honest, simple work that keeps us connected to the ground. We just want to make sure the people in Rajkot have a place they can trust. It keeps us grounded and busy throughout the week. We just do what's right for the folks nearby.
