If you head down 80 Feet Road in Rajkot and look opposite Western Mineral, you’ll find us at Aji Vasahat. We’re at number five. It’s a typical industrial area, lots of noise and dust, which is pretty much where we belong given the casting work we do. The foundry gets quite warm, especially in the afternoons, but that’s just how it goes in this line of work. We’ve got a group of guys who have been with us for years, and they know the rhythm of the place better than anyone. We don't spend much time on the computer unless we absolutely have to for an order. Mostly, we’re out on the floor making sure the moulds are right. It’s not the kind of place you’d wear a suit to. We’ve got sand and metal scraps around, and the floor is never really clean for long. People in Rajkot know us as a place that just gets on with it. We don't bother with big advertisements or anything like that. Most of our work comes from folks who’ve been coming here for a long time. They know where we are, right there on the corner. It's a simple operation, really. We just try to get the pieces cast properly and out the door so we can start on the next batch. It's honest work and it keeps us occupied from morning until late evening.
