Navjivan Clinic

Our clinic, Navjivan Clinic, is situated right on the Main Road in Kankot. It’s a pretty straightforward place to find because we’re right there where everyone passes by. The dust from the road comes in sometimes when the door stays open too long, so we’re always wiping down the counters. It’s a simple building with a few rooms for seeing people who aren’t feeling their best. We start our day early, usually around the same time the shops next door are pulling up their shutters. There isn’t much in the way of decoration here, just the basic medical charts and some chairs that have seen better days. Kankot is the kind of place where everyone is in a hurry, so we try to get people in and out without wasting their time. Sometimes the waiting area gets full of people standing because there aren't enough seats, but nobody seems to mind much. We deal with all sorts of regular health issues that pop up in a small town. It can get a bit loud with the trucks going by on the Main Road, but you get used to it after a week or two. We just do our work and head home when the sun goes down. It’s a local business run by local people who understand how things work around here. We don't have much else to say, we just stay busy.
