Kailash Oil Cake Industries

We are located right out at Ashapura Chowkdi on NH-8B. If you’ve driven down the highway, you’ve probably seen the dust and the trucks lined up near our place, Kailash Oil Cake Industries. It’s a busy junction, and there is always noise from the traffic moving toward the city or away from it. Our work is pretty messy, to be honest. Dealing with oil cakes means things get sticky and there’s a very specific smell in the air all day long. We don’t mind it much anymore. The yard is usually full of sacks waiting to be loaded onto the trucks. We spend most of our time out in the sun or under the tin roofs, making sure everything is moving like it should. It’s not a desk job. Our clothes get dirty and the heat off the pavement at the chowkdi can be pretty intense in the summer. We have a small area for the paperwork, but most of the action happens outside. It’s a tough environment, but it’s honest work. We’ve been at this spot for a long time, watching the highway get wider and the traffic get heavier. We just focus on getting the product out and making sure the drivers get on their way quickly.
