Our place is called "Naman" and it’s located in Shital Park, near Bajrang Wadi on Jamnagar Road. Rajkot is a busy city, and being on the way to Jamnagar means there’s always a lot of traffic passing by. We work with cement and building materials, mostly doing testing and looking at standards. The lab and the office are part of the same setup here. It isn't a sparkling new facility, but it has everything we need to do our jobs properly. We’ve got a mix of experienced people and some younger folks who are just learning the ropes. Sometimes it gets a bit messy with samples and dust, but that’s the nature of the industry. We aren't here to give sales pitches or convince anyone of anything. We just look at the materials and give our reports based on what we find. Most days are spent looking at machines or writing down numbers in our logs. We take our lunch breaks together and talk about local news or whatever is happening in the neighborhood. The area around Shital Park has grown a lot since we first set up here. It’s a practical location for us. We don't need a fancy lobby or a receptionist in a suit. We just need our tools and enough space to work through the pile of tests we have to do every week. It’s steady work and we’re glad to be doing it here in Rajkot.
