Nagarjan Construction Company Ltd

We have been based here in Padapatta Lanka for a long time now. Nagarjan Construction Company Ltd basically operates out of the space near Bhaskar Rao’s place, and it’s pretty easy to find if you know the area. It is a quiet spot in East Godavari, and on most days you will see us just trying to get the trucks loaded or checking on some messy paperwork in the small office room. It really isn't a fancy setup at all. We have a few wooden desks and some old files stacked up in the corner. The weather around here gets really humid, especially during the monsoon months when the local roads turn into a muddy mess, but we still manage to keep things moving along. My cousin usually handles the phone calls while I am out looking at different sites or talking to the guys who do the heavy lifting. We do not have a big corporate office with glass walls or shiny signs. It is just us working out of this simple building. Sometimes the power goes out in the middle of the afternoon, so we just sit outside in the shade and talk for a bit until the fans start spinning again. People in the village know where to find us if they have questions about a project. We grew up in this district, so we know the local soil and the people pretty well. It is hard work, dealing with the sun and getting materials delivered, but we just get on with it.
