Our office is on the first floor of the Aditya Centre, located right at Phulchhab Chowk. It is a very busy intersection, so there is always a lot of noise and movement right outside our windows throughout the day. Being on the first floor is convenient because we can see everything happening down in the chowk, but we are high enough to be away from the immediate dust of the street. We deal with polymers, so our day usually involves a lot of talking to suppliers and checking on various shipments. The office itself is pretty plain. We have a few desks, some filing cabinets that have seen better days, and samples of materials tucked into various corners. It is not the kind of place you see in a magazine; it is just where we come to get our work done. Phulchhab Chowk is a central spot, so it is easy for people to find us, though parking is always a bit of a challenge around here. We usually have tea together in the afternoon while we go over the day’s tasks. There is always a lot of paperwork to get through, and someone is usually on the phone discussing orders with the factory. We have been in this building for a while now and we are used to the rhythm of the area. We just keep things simple, focus on the polymer business, and head home once the sun goes down.
