If you walk down Arya Nagar Main Road in Rajkot, you will find us at Matrudevobhav 6. We have been here at Mohini Jwelers for quite some time now. The street is always loud with scooters and people shopping for their daily needs. Inside the shop, it is a bit quieter. We spend a lot of time cleaning the glass displays and making sure the gold and silver looks okay. Being on Santkabir Road means we see a lot of regular faces. It is a local life. Some days are slow, and we just sit and talk about the weather or the news. Other days, when there is a wedding coming up, it gets very crowded. Families come in and stay for hours looking at different pieces. We offer them tea and just sit with them. There is no rush. We don't have those big fancy advertisements you see in the city center. It’s just a neighborhood jewelry shop. The lighting inside is a bit yellow, and we have stools for people to sit on. Sometimes the accounts take longer than they should because we get distracted talking to neighbors. It is a simple way of living and working. We know most of the people who walk past our door. That is how it is in Rajkot, and we like it that way. It is a comfortable spot to be.
