Metro Computer Academy

If you’re walking down Nirmala Convent Road, you’ll likely see Metro Computer Academy. We’ve been set up here for a good while. It’s a pretty busy street, especially when school lets out. Inside, it’s mostly just rows of computers and people trying to learn how to use them better. We aren't some giant university or anything. It’s just a place where you can come in and get some practice or learn a new skill on the PC. The desks are a bit old, and sometimes a mouse stops working, but we fix things up as we go. Everyone who works here at Metro Computer Academy lives nearby, so we know the neighborhood well. It’s a simple setup on Nirmala Convent Road. We don't use any of those fancy teaching methods you hear about on TV. We just sit down, show people how the software works, and let them try it for themselves. It can be a bit noisy when the classes are full, but it’s a good kind of noise. We spend our days answering questions and making sure the internet stays connected. We don't have a big marketing department or glossy brochures. We just have a sign outside and people seem to find us. It’s a practical little spot and we like it that way. We just want to keep the computers running and help folks out who need to learn some basic digital stuff for their jobs or school.
