Meera Medical Instruments

Meera Medical Instruments is situated right near Jell Chowk, which is a fairly busy intersection if you’re trying to get around. We are directly opposite Pearl Dental Hospital, so we see a lot of people coming and going from there all day long. Our shop isn't very big, but we pack a lot of instruments into the space we have. It’s mostly stainless steel and glass in here. We spend a good chunk of our time making sure every piece of equipment is where it belongs and that nothing is missing. It’s a bit of a juggle sometimes. The traffic at the chowk can get pretty backed up in the evenings, which makes for a noisy background while we work. We don't really do much advertising or anything like that; people usually find us because they’re already going to the dental hospital or they live nearby. The floor is a bit worn down from years of people walking in and out, and the lights flicker occasionally, but it works for what we need. We handle all sorts of medical tools, from the small stuff to the slightly larger items. It’s just us here, doing the daily routine of checking orders and talking to the doctors who stop by. We try to keep things simple and honest. There’s always a bit of paperwork to do, usually piled up on the back desk next to the tea kettle.
