Meena Castings

Meena Castings is situated on Gondal Road in Rajkot, right across from Samrudhhi Bhavan and near Automotive Manufacture Ltd. We are also just opposite the Central Bank, so we are pretty easy to find if you are in the neighborhood. Rajkot is a hub for casting work, and we have been a part of that community for a long time. Our foundry is a place of heat and smoke and hard work. We spend our days melting down metal and pouring it into sand molds that we’ve prepared by hand. It is not an easy job, especially when the weather is already hot, but there is a certain rhythm to it that we all like. We don't have a polished office or a marketing person to talk to customers. Usually, it is just the owner or one of the senior workers who handles the orders. The building is old and the walls are stained with soot, but that is how a foundry is supposed to look. We focus on getting the shapes right and making sure the metal is the right temperature. Sometimes a mold breaks or the metal doesn't flow right, and we just have to start all over again. It is a bit of a rough environment, but the people who work here are good at what they do. We don't make big claims about being the best; we just do our work and let the castings speak for themselves.
