We are over at A 43 in the Marketing Yard here in Rajkot. It’s a busy place, especially in the mornings when the trucks start rolling in and everyone is shouting over each other to get things moved. We’ve been operating out of this spot for a good while now. Most days it is just about keeping track of the inventory and making sure the paperwork doesn't get too messy. The office isn't anything fancy, just a few desks and some old chairs where we sit and drink tea when there is a break in the action. We deal with all sorts of people coming through the yard. Some are regulars we’ve known for years, others just pass through once. It gets pretty dusty out here, so we spend a lot of time just wiping down the counters. There is always something needing to be loaded or unloaded. Sometimes the power goes out for an hour or two, and we just sit outside until it comes back on. That is just how it goes in this part of town. We don't really do much advertising or anything like that. People know where we are if they need something from us. It is a straightforward way to make a living. The sun hits the front of the building pretty hard in the afternoon, so we usually keep the shutters halfway down to stay cool while we finish up the day’s work.
