Mayank Marketing

Mayank Marketing sits over on Office Road in Padadhari. We are quite close to the railway station, so you can hear the trains passing by all day long. It’s a familiar sound to us now and we don't even notice it much anymore. We are located right at the Parekh Auto Centre building. It’s a practical location for what we do. Most of our work involves distribution for local shops and some smaller vendors around this part of town. We don't have a big staff, just myself and two others who handle the deliveries and the billing. The office is small and usually smells like old paper and the grease from the auto shop downstairs. We have a few chairs for visitors, but mostly people just stand and talk while we sort out their orders. The fan on the ceiling wobbles a bit when it's on high, but it keeps the air moving during the hot afternoons. We spend a lot of time on the phone or out on the scooter making rounds to see our customers. Padadhari is a quiet place compared to the big cities, so we know most of the people who come by. We don't bother with big advertisements. We just focus on getting the products delivered when we say we will. Sometimes the shipments get delayed at the station, and we have to go down there to sort it out. It’s just part of the daily job. It’s a steady rhythm.
