You can find our factory at G-503/3/B, right by Kishan Gate in the GIDC Lodhika area of Metoda, Rajkot. It is a heavy industrial zone, so the air is always thick with the sound of machinery and the smell of cut metal. We do stamping work here. It is loud and repetitive, but we have got a good rhythm down. The machines are old but they still work perfectly if you treat them right and keep them oiled. Our floors are concrete and usually have a few scraps of metal lying around until we sweep up at the end of the shift. Most of our workers live nearby and have been doing this for years. We do not have a big HR department or a PR team. If there is a problem, we just talk it out on the shop floor. The office is just a small room partitioned off from the main area where the noise is a little less. We keep the ledgers and the blueprints in there. Sometimes the power goes out in the industrial estate, and everything goes quiet for a while, which is a strange feeling. But usually, we are humming along from dawn until dusk. We aren't looking for awards or anything like that. We just want to make sure the parts we stamp are the right size and shape for the people who buy them. It is honest, hard work and we are proud to do it here in Rajkot.
