We've been at 1032 Hamiliton Road in Kashmere Gate for a long time now. It’s a busy spot, always crowded with people looking for parts. We mostly deal with gaskets here. If you come by the shop, you'll see stacks of them all over the place. Sometimes it gets a bit disorganized, but we know where everything is. My father started this place, and I just kept it going. We don’t have a fancy showroom or anything like that. It’s just a workshop where we get the job done. The traffic on Hamiliton Road is usually a nightmare, especially in the afternoons. Most of our customers are regular mechanics or guys who have been buying from us for years. We just cut the gaskets to size and make sure they fit what you need. It’s a lot of manual work and the machines make a fair bit of noise. We don’t really do much advertising. People just find us by word of mouth or they walk in while they're in the market. It’s dusty work and our hands are usually covered in grease by the end of the day. That's just how it is. We open up early and stay until the sun goes down. There isn't much to say other than we work hard and try to keep the stock ready for whoever stops by. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot, but the shop stays pretty much the same as it always was.
