Mahesh (India) Group

Being right across from the airport means we hear planes all day. We are at number 58 in Aradhana Society. It's more of a residential-looking spot, but we’ve made it our base. The Sunflower House landmark helps people find us, otherwise, they’d get lost in the society lanes. We deal with various things under the Mahesh (India) Group name. Mostly it’s just us sitting in the office handling the logistics. Some days are slow, others are packed with calls. We have a small porch where we sit sometimes when it’s not too hot. The noise from the airport becomes background noise after a week of working here. You stop noticing it. We don't have a big sign or a lobby with a receptionist. You just walk in and one of us will help you. We keep our records in old-fashioned ledgers mostly, though there's a computer that we use for the main stuff. It feels like a family office. Everyone knows who is supposed to do what. We've got a water cooler that makes a loud noise every time someone uses it. It’s been here since we moved in. It’s not a corporate headquarters with glass walls. It’s just a solid place where we come to work every morning, have our lunch together, and head home when the sun starts going down. Sometimes the postman stays for a chat. It’s that kind of atmosphere. We just get through the day's tasks.
