We set up Macpower Cnc Machines P.Ltd at Plot No. 2234 near Kranti Gate quite some time ago. Being in Gidc Metoda means we are surrounded by other people doing the same kind of heavy work. Our shop is where we put together CNC machines and try to keep everything running smooth. It’s a big space, which is lucky because those machines take up a lot of room. Most mornings start with a quick check of the power and making sure the tools are where they belong. We aren't big on corporate meetings or long speeches. We’d rather just be on the floor looking at the hardware. Kranti Gate is a landmark everyone knows, so finding us isn't too hard for the delivery drivers. The air in Metoda always smells a bit like ozone and cut metal, which is fine by us. We’ve had the same crew for a while, and we all know our roles without having to talk about it too much. Sometimes things break down or a part doesn't arrive when it should, and we just deal with it. We don't have a fancy lobby with chairs. If someone comes to see us, we usually just chat near the main workbench. It’s practical work for practical people. We aren't trying to change the world; we just want to build machines that do what they are supposed to do for the folks who buy them.
