Laxmi Marine Kandla

We are located out at Plot No 255 in Sector 1/A. Being here in Kutch, so close to the port area, means things are always moving around us. Laxmi Marine Kandla has been operating from this specific spot for a good while now. The air is always a bit salty from the sea and there is usually a layer of dust blowing around from the docks nearby. It is not the kind of place where anyone wears a suit to work. We are usually in our heavy work gear, dealing with whatever the tide or the day brings to us. Some days are very quiet, just waiting for the next shipment or finishing up some tedious paperwork at the desk. Other days, everything seems to happen all at once and we are all running around the yard. We have a decent-sized plot here. It is big enough for what we need, though it gets crowded very quickly when stuff piles up. Most of us grew up around this area or moved here specifically for the port work. We understand how things go in this part of Kutch. We do not use a lot of big words or have meetings that last for hours on end. We just talk about what needs to be fixed or moved and then we go out and do it. It is a bit of a rough-and-ready setup, but it is ours and we are used to it. No frills here.
