Getting to Lala Texfab Pvt. Ltd. takes a bit of patience because the Raghukul Textile Market is always packed with people and carts. We are on the 3rd floor at E-5601. You have to take Lift No. 23, which is sometimes a bit slow when the market is busy with deliveries. Being near Kamela Darwaja on Ring Road means there is never a quiet moment outside. You can hear the trucks and the shouting of the loaders all day long. Inside our space, it is mostly just rows of fabric rolls stacked up high. We try to keep things organized, but when new stock comes in, the floor gets covered pretty fast. It’s a workplace, so there are threads everywhere and the smell of new cloth. We don't have much room for fancy decorations because the textiles take up all the space. Most of the time, we are just checking invoices or making sure the bundles are tied right for the next shipment. The sunlight comes in through the side window in the morning and hits the dust in the air. It’s a lot of manual work, moving things from the lift to the back of the room. Sometimes the power goes out for a few minutes and everything stops, then we just wait it out. It’s a typical Surat textile life, nothing more and nothing less than that. We just focus on the rolls of fabric.
