Jayshree Foods Gruh Udhyog

Jayshree Foods Gruh Udhyog is located out at the KUVADAVA GIDC. We are at Plot No. 286-87, right on the Rajkot Ahmedabad National Highway. Being near the highway means there’s a constant stream of trucks and cars passing by at all hours. It’s a very practical location for us. Our space is more of a workshop or a small factory than a typical office. There’s usually a lot going on with the food preparation and packaging. You can often smell whatever we’re working on that day from the parking area. It’s hard work and the days can be long, especially when we have big orders to get out. We don't have any marketing experts or fancy directors here. It’s mostly family and local workers who know how to handle the machinery and the ingredients. We’ve had to learn a lot as we went along, like how to fix a machine when it breaks down or how to manage the storage space better. The floor is usually covered in some kind of dust or flour, no matter how much we sweep. We just try to stay on top of everything and keep things moving. We’re just a local business trying to make things work and stay busy. It’s a noisy, busy place but it’s ours. We’ve been at this spot for a while and don't plan on moving anytime soon, as it fits what we do perfectly. Sometimes the truck drivers coming off the highway get lost and ask us for directions.
