We are at shop number two in Popatpara, right near the main road. Being that close to the main road means we hear every bus and motorcycle that goes by. It is a bit of a small spot, so we have to be really careful about where we put things. We have everything organized by what it’s for, but sometimes we still have to use a small step ladder to reach the top shelves. The counter has a few scratches on it from years of use. We usually start the day by checking the fridge to make sure the medicine stayed cold overnight. There is a small window in the back that lets in a tiny bit of natural light, but mostly we rely on the overhead tubes. We get a lot of people walking in who live just a few streets away. It is nice because we get to know what they usually need. We don't have a big staff, just us working the counter and handling the boxes. Sometimes we have to wait a few days for a delivery if the weather is bad, so we spend that time tidying up the aisles. The walls are painted a pale cream color that has faded a bit over the years. We just try to keep a decent supply of things on hand so nobody has to walk too far. It is a regular neighborhood shop with no frills or extras, and we like it that way.
