K.P. Engineering

K.P. Engineering is based in the Everest Industrial Zone in Vavdi. Our specific location is Survey Number 20, Plot Number 30. We are right opposite Poonam Dumper on the Gondal Road Highway, near Vavdi village. Being near the highway means we get a lot of noise from the trucks going by, but it makes it easy for people to find us. Our workshop is a straightforward engineering space. We have different sections for different types of work. It is not a polished environment by any means. There are metal scraps and oil around, which is just part of the trade. We spend our mornings getting the machines warmed up and checking the schedules. It is a lot of physical work and we are usually pretty tired by the end of the day. The Everest Industrial Zone has a lot of businesses like ours, so we are in good company. We do not have any big sales pitches to give people. If someone comes in with a part that needs fixing or an idea for a piece of engineering, we just look at it and see if we can do it. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit, but that is life in this area. We have our regulars who come back because they know we are just around the corner from the village. It is a humble shop and we are okay with that.
