Yamuna Industries

We set up Yamuna Industries in the Golden Industrial Area out in Kothariya. Our plot is number 11 on Street Number 1, right behind the Rolex Bearing factory. If you’ve ever been out this way, you know it’s mostly dust and the sound of machines running. We spend most of our daylight hours here on the floor. It’s a practical space, mostly filled with tools and raw materials. We don't have a reception area or a coffee machine for guests. If you come by, you’ll probably find us in our work clothes getting our hands dirty. That’s just how it is in Kothariya. We’ve been here for a while, and we’ve seen the industrial area grow bigger every year. It used to be much quieter, but now there are trucks moving in and out all day long. We just focus on the work we have in front of us. It’s not glamorous, and the heat in the summer can be quite a lot inside the shed. But we have a good group of guys working here. We don’t do big marketing campaigns. Most people hear about us from other shops in the street. We try to be fair and do a decent job so people come back. It’s a simple way to live, but it works for us. Working behind Rolex Bearing means everyone knows the landmark. The street is usually full of parked bikes and delivery vans. We’ve got a small corner where we keep our old records in dusty boxes. We don't use computers for everything; we still like our big registers.
