Anand Plastics

Anand Plastics is situated right in the middle of the Industrial Estate. It’s the kind of place where you hear the sounds of machines and trucks all day long. We’ve got a decent-sized unit here where we do our work. It’s mostly about the plastic items that local industries need for their own products. We aren't a high-tech factory with robots. It’s mostly us and a few workers handling the machines and packing the finished goods into sacks. The floors are concrete and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it’s a factory, not a showroom. We focus on getting the orders out on time. Sometimes we stay late when a big shipment needs to go out, and we all just order some food and keep going. We’ve been in this estate for years, so we know the other owners around here. We borrow tools from each other or help out if someone’s truck breaks down. It’s a community of makers. We don't have a marketing department or anything like that. People find us because they need what we make and they heard we do a solid job. We keep things simple. You come in, tell us what you need, and we see if we can make it happen. It’s honest work and we take a bit of pride in that, even if we don't say it out loud much.
