Metoda is the kind of place where you really feel the industrial side of the city. We are located at G-2208 and 2209, right by the Kranti Gate in the Lodhika GIDC area. It’s a massive space because polymers take up a lot of room. The floors are concrete and usually have a layer of fine dust despite our best efforts. You can hear the hum of the machinery from the moment you park your bike outside. It’s hot in the summer, especially near the production lines, so we have big industrial fans blowing all day long. Kranti Gate is a landmark for everyone in this part of GIDC, so we get a lot of delivery drivers stopping by. We don't have a fancy reception area. If someone visits, they usually just talk to us right on the floor or in the small cabin we built in the corner. There are stacks of raw materials in big bags and finished products ready to be shipped out. It’s a loud, busy environment where everyone has a job to do. We don’t bother with much branding on the walls or anything like that. It’s just an industrial unit doing what it’s supposed to do. The shift changes are the busiest times, with people coming and going and the sound of the siren. We’ve been here in Metoda for a good stretch and we're used to the daily pace of the production work.
