Keshubhai Mehta Eye Hospital

We've been here in Karanpara for a while now. It is easy to find us on Karansinhji Main Road because the area stays busy throughout the day. People come by mostly when their vision starts acting up or they need a quick check. Working here at Keshubhai Mehta Eye Hospital means seeing a lot of faces from the neighborhood. It is not a very fancy place, but we keep the rooms clean and the chairs ready. My morning usually starts with unlocking the front door and making sure the lights are on before the first group of patients arrives. Sometimes the traffic outside gets loud, but inside we try to keep things moving along so nobody sits waiting too long. We have the usual equipment you'd expect for eyes. Some days are more packed than others, especially on Monday mornings. Most people who walk in just want to know if they need new glasses or if that itch in their eye is something to worry about. We see grandfathers, kids, and everyone in between. It is just a normal part of life here on this street. We don't do anything flashy, just the daily work of looking at eyes and talking to folks about how they're seeing. It feels good to be a staple in the community where people know where to go when their sight is blurry.
