Kasuma Auto Engg. Pvt. Ltd.

Out here in the Shapar District, specifically in Veraval, the air always smells like metal and diesel. Our place, Kasuma Auto Engg. Pvt. Ltd., is sitting right on the Gondal Highway. We have a few plots here—4, 5, 6, and 18—all part of Survey Number 219 in the Mahavir Industrial Estate. It’s a big area, and we need the space for the auto engineering work we do every day. Being near National Highway 8B makes it easier for the big trucks to get in and out, though the traffic can be a nightmare during the peak hours. We’ve got a lot of heavy equipment scattered around the shop floor. It’s loud, and there is always something being welded or ground down. We aren’t much for sitting in offices; most of us are out where the actual work is happening. The dust from the highway tends to blow in, so we are always dusting off the workbenches. It is a rough and ready kind of environment. We started with just one small area and eventually took over the neighboring plots as we needed more room for the inventory. People around here know us as the place that’s always got the lights on late into the evening. We just focus on getting the engineering right and making sure the parts fit like they should. It’s hard work, but it’s what we know. We don’t bother with much else besides the daily grind of the shop.
