Kansai Nerolac Paints Ltd.

Our spot is at 7 Vardhman Nagar, right off Palace Road in Rajkot. It is a good location because it is easy to find, though parking can be a bit of a headache sometimes when the delivery vans are around. We spend our days surrounded by cans of Nerolac, from the small testers to the big twenty-liter tubs. The morning starts with a lot of sweeping because the dust from the road always finds its way inside. We have a few old metal desks where we handle the billing and the phone calls. The walls have some old calendars and a few posters that have been there for years. People from all over Rajkot drop by, especially on their way to the main market area. We don't have a receptionist or anything; whoever is free just answers the door or the phone. It is a lot of manual work, checking batch numbers and making sure the tins aren't dented. The atmosphere is pretty relaxed most of the time, though it gets hectic right before the festive season when everyone wants to repaint their homes at the same time. We usually have a radio playing in the background to keep things lively while we pack up orders or move stock from the front to the back. It is just a normal, hardworking place where we deal with paint every single day.
