Being right near the Bhaktinagar Station Plot at number 11 makes things interesting. There is always noise from the trains and people moving about. Kaizen Auto has been sitting in this spot for a good stretch of time. The building itself is older, with those heavy doors that sometimes stick when it rains. We don’t mind it much. Inside, it’s mostly tools, grease, and the sound of someone working on an engine or a tire. It isn't the cleanest place you’ll ever visit, but it's where the work gets done. Most of the guys here have been working on cars since they were kids. We talk about the weather or the local cricket scores while we work. It’s a simple setup. We don't have a front desk or anyone in a suit waiting to greet you. Usually, you just walk in and find whoever isn't under a car at the moment. We keep a ledger on the wooden desk for the accounts, and it’s mostly filled with names we’ve known for years. Sometimes we run out of space for all the scrap metal, so we have to clear things out on Saturdays. It’s a bit of a squeeze when more than two vehicles are inside. But we make it work. It’s just a regular shop for people who live around the station. No more, no less. We just open the doors every morning and see what the day brings us. That is all there is to it.
