K. U. Fibre Processors

We share a space with Shreeji Engineering over in Virani Aghat. K. U. Fibre Processors is what we call ourselves. The area is very industrial, with a lot of noise and vibration from the nearby workshops that never seems to stop. We deal with processing different types of fibres for various uses. The floor is usually covered in bits of material and lint, no matter how much we sweep it at the end of the shift. It’s a rugged environment to work in. We have some heavy machinery that takes up most of the room and makes a lot of noise. It’s loud and it can get pretty hot inside when everything is running at once during the day. We don't have a separate office or a lobby, just an old desk in the corner where we keep the ledger and the phone. Most of the time, we are out on the floor managing the machines and making sure the fibre is being processed correctly. We’ve been here for a while and have a good relationship with the other engineers in the building. It’s the kind of place where you get your hands dirty every single day. We don't do anything fancy or have meetings. We just process the fibre and move the bags out to the customers. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait it out, but that’s just how things are around here. It’s a basic, honest way to make a living in a busy industrial hub.
