Being located in the Aji Industrial Estate means there is always noise around. It’s the sound of Rajkot working. At K. S. Diesels Limited, the day starts with opening the heavy shutters and checking what orders came in late yesterday. We deal with a lot of heavy parts. It's the kind of job where you can't really keep your hands clean for long. If you look around the shop, you’ll see shelves stacked high with various diesel components. Some of them have been there for a bit, while others move out as soon as they arrive. The staff here is mostly local guys who live nearby. We don't have a big marketing department or anything. People usually find us because they’ve heard we have the parts they need for their engines. It can get dusty, especially when the wind blows through the estate, but we just get on with it. We spend a lot of time on the phone talking to suppliers or explaining to a customer why a certain part is better for their specific machine. It’s a lot of practical talk. We don't use big words or fancy presentations. If a part fits and it works, that’s what matters to us. We try to keep things organized, but in a busy workshop, there’s always a bit of a mess somewhere. It’s just the reality of working with machinery every day.
