We operate Jyoti Cnc Automation Pvt Ltd. from G-506 in the Lodhika GIDC area over in Village Metoda. Being out here in the GIDC means we’re surrounded by other factories and workshops. It’s a busy place with a lot of movement all day long. Our unit is mostly taken up by the machines and the space we need to work on them. It’s loud, and there’s always a hum of electricity and the sound of metal being worked. We spend a lot of time monitoring the machines and making sure everything is running the way it’s supposed to. It’s a technical kind of job, but the daily reality is just a lot of standing on your feet and checking measurements. We’ve been at this location for a good while, and we’ve seen the area grow. Lunch breaks are usually taken quickly so we can get back to the floor. The floors are concrete and can be hard on the knees, but that’s just part of the job. We don’t really have a front office for visitors, just the main workspace where everyone does their bit. It’s practical and straightforward. Most of us live nearby, so the commute to Metoda isn’t too bad. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing, day in and day out, making sure the machines keep humming along.
