Shubham Exports

Navagadh is a busy area, and Vekariya Udhyog Nagar is where most of the action happens. We’ve got our unit here among all the other workshops and warehouses. It’s pretty noisy during the day with all the machinery running nearby. Shubham Exports isn't a huge place, but we use every inch of the space we have. There are stacks of boxes everywhere ready to go out. We spend a lot of time checking labels and making sure the packing is right. The floor is concrete and has a few cracks from the heavy crates we move around. We don't have a fancy reception area. If you come by, you’ll probably find us in the back working. The light isn't great in the afternoons, so we have those long tube lights on all day. It gets dusty, so we’re always wiping down the desks. Most of us have been working together for years now. We know the rhythm of the place. When the trucks arrive, everything gets a bit chaotic for an hour or so. We just get on with it, really. It’s hard work, especially when the weather is humid, but that’s just how Navagadh is. We keep a big jug of cold water by the door for anyone who needs it. It’s not a glamorous job, but we’re proud of what we send out from this little corner of the industrial estate.
