We've been at 25, Vardhaman Ind.Area for a long time now. If you go behind Field Marshal on 80 Feet Rd, you’ll find our place. It’s a busy spot, mostly full of people looking for specific hardware items they can’t find elsewhere. The shop isn’t fancy at all. We have shelves reaching the ceiling filled with all sorts of metal bits and tools. Most days it’s just us moving boxes and helping folks who walk in with a broken screw or a need for a specific wrench. It gets dusty because of the industrial area, but that's just how it is here. People know us by the sign out front, though it's faded a bit over the years. We don't spend money on fancy displays. Instead, we just keep stock of what people actually use in their daily work. If you need something for a repair or a project, you just come in and ask. Sometimes it takes a minute to find the exact size in the back room, but we usually have it. The traffic on 80 Feet Rd can be a mess in the evenings, so most people come by early. We open up the shutters and get to work. There’s no big corporate office here, just the counter and the stock. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot, but the hardware needs stay pretty much the same. It’s just honest work day in and day out for us.
