Raj & Company

Raj & Company is over at 15-16, Galaxy Commercial Centre. We are up on the first floor on Jawahar Road. The building is one of those busy commercial hubs where there is always someone shouting or a scooter zooming by. Our office isn't very large. It’s mostly filled with wooden desks and old metal filing cabinets. We deal with a lot of paperwork and general commercial trading. We’ve been in Rajkot for a long time. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, and the light flickers sometimes, but it’s where we do our business. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a fancy lobby. We just have some chairs for people to sit on while they wait. The afternoon sun hits the front window pretty hard, so we keep the curtains drawn most of the time to stay cool. We know all the other shop owners in the Galaxy Centre. We share news and complain about the heat together. It’s a very local way of working. We don't have a big marketing plan or a social media page. People just know our name from being around for so many years. We take our orders, fill out the forms, and make sure the accounts are right. It’s steady work and it keeps us occupied. If you’re walking down Jawahar Road, you’ll see our sign near the entrance. We are usually here until the sun goes down.
