Jagdish Technocast is situated at Survey No- 213, Plot No- 1-2, right on National Highway 8-B in Veraval, Shapar. Being on the highway makes it easy for transport, which is good because we move a lot of heavy material. We’ve been in this spot for several years, watching the area grow around us. The work we do involves a lot of technical casting, but we still do things the old-fashioned way in many respects. It’s a mix of using machines and just knowing how the metal behaves. The shop floor is always busy, and there’s a lot of noise from the grinders and the ventilation fans. We’re just a group of workers who’ve spent a lot of time in foundries. We don’t have any polished sales pitches or anything like that. If someone needs a part cast, they come by, show us what they need, and we give them a price. We try to be fair and honest about what we can achieve. In Veraval, everyone knows everyone in this business, so your reputation is just based on the work you actually do. We take pride in just staying steady and keeping the quality where it needs to be. It’s a lot of long hours, but seeing a finished product come out of a mold never gets old. We’re just glad to be working. The highway keeps us connected to everything, and we just keep the production moving as best as we can every single day.
