Jagdamba Foundry

Jagdamba Foundry is located on Maninagar Main Road in the Mavdi Plot area of Rajkot - 360004. If you come by this way, you will see a lot of workshops, but our foundry is one of the older ones around. The work here is very physical and involves a lot of heat. We melt down metal and pour it into molds to make different parts. It is a dusty and dark environment most of the time. We don't have air conditioning or fancy chairs. The floor is covered in sand and bits of scrap metal. We’ve been at this address for a long time, and the building reflects that. It looks a bit worn out, but the machinery still does what it’s supposed to do. We have a small group of guys who have been working here for years. They are used to the smoke and the smell of the furnace. Mavdi Plot is a busy industrial hub, so there is always noise from the street and the neighboring shops. We don't spend any time on marketing or making ourselves look good on paper. Most of our clients are local businesses who just walk in through the front door to talk about what they need. We just give them a price and tell them when it will be ready. It’s a very direct way of doing business. We focus on the quality of the castings and not much else.
