J D Corp

Our office is over in the Ramdham Society, which is a bit of a quieter pocket near the busy Kalavad Road. J D Corp is situated right in the Anand Sagar building. Being so close to the Hyderabad Bank means there are always people walking back and forth outside our window. The office itself is nothing special to look at. We have a few desks that have seen better days and shelves that are sagging under the weight of old files and paperwork. Usually, the morning starts with the sound of the heavy metal shutters being rolled up and the smell of the floor cleaner. A lot of time is spent dealing with the daily admin tasks that keep things running. It involves a lot of typing on old keyboards and making sure the ledgers are updated. The traffic on Kalavad Road is a constant hum in the background, but inside the society, it stays a little more peaceful. Sometimes we go out to the small balcony to get some air and watch the cars go by on the main road. We do not have any big signs or bright lights. It is just a place where we come to do our jobs every day. There is a small pantry in the back where we make tea, and the kettle is almost always on. We are not big on formalities here. If the mail comes, we just pile it on the corner desk until someone has a spare moment to go through it. It is just a regular local business.
